SELLING ART IMAGE INFORMATION

If you are a Print Dealer, an Antique Dealer, Art Collector or Dealer you may not realize it but if your piece of art is digitized (creating an image of your art by photography or scanning) you can create a Digital Asset that you can sell. You already own the art, why not create another type of asset from it something you can sell over and over again. If your item is very rare, one of a kind and is something that is of interest to others you might be able to generate extra income. Imolio is a DAM or Digital Asset Management website. You create the image and you price your image. We are providing a worldwide marketplace for owners of Digital Assets to sell their images. Imolio accepts for consignment, digital images of paintings and art that are in the Public Domain. The term Public Domain means that the original art is free of any copyright restrictions. In general if the artwork was created in 1901 or earlier it is in the Public Domain because the maximum term on a copyright is 95 years. Also, 99% of most art created before January 1, 1978 is also in the Public Domain. If you have images of any works of art made between 1905 and 1978 and wish to have us sell them please contact us to perform a search of the Copyright Database to determine if the art is in the Public Domain before you upload it for sale.

We offer a 75% payout on all image sales and a 50% payout on all paper print sales less print production costs. We are receiving images from Museums, Art Auction Houses, Rare Print and Book Dealers and individuals around the world. No image collection is too big or too small.
